When trying to get the most porformance possible out of your engine it may be desirable to bypass the catalytic converter or converters to Increase flow. However in a lot of modern vehicles, the post Cat O2/Lambda sensor/s will flag up a fault code as they detect that the catalysts are below usual efficiency.
The solution
At the same time as carrying out the ECU remap we can delete the fault codes stored in the ECU permanently so they don’t cause any issues or fault lights. This is a permanent solution and will allow you to run a decatted vehicle without any modifications to the sensors or other fault codes being disabled.
